Experienced Medical Professionals
Dr. Vinay Fernandes is a highly skilled physician and surgeon specializing in otolaryngology - head and neck surgery with training from the University of Toronto and Stanford University. He is currently on staff at Scarborough Health Network (General & Centennary) and Mount Sinai Hospital
Audiological Services
We collaborate with neighborhood partners to offer audiological testing for both children and adults on site.

We sub-specialize in thyroid surgery, in particular conditions such as thyroid cancer, grave's disease or goiter that require surgery. Our current thyroid surgery volumes are 80-100 cases per year. Dr. Fernandes performs thyroid nodule biopsies himself, providing continuity of care for thyroid lumps

Dr. Fernandes is fellowship trained in head & neck cancer and microvascular reconstruction. We treat head and neck tumors and routinely perform parathyroid surgery including treatment of patients on dialysis, as well as salivary surgery such as submandibular gland removal and parotidectomy.

We assess general ear, nose and throat conditions such as hearing loss, ear cleaning, nasal obstruction, and sinus disease. Septoplasty and Sinus surgery are common procedures we still perform regularly.
